I am seeking out writers, people that are good at writing condensed
short stories, poems or articles. In 2010 I will be publishing into a
book a series of pictures I have taken over the years tentatively calls The Tub. One day an idea and concept came to me and my friend Tasha,after I purchased with my ex studio partner an old clawfoot cast iron tub with rust and red paint chipping from it. The tub ideas grew as we spread the word about the tub, it seem to have some magical grip on models, a power. You could be a model and have no idea what you wanted to do to be photographed, But as soon as they got closer and sat down,the model seem to develop ideas and feelings and emotions. Today now four years later, I have portrayed birth and new life to death and the dark world. Models have tried to top each other with a look or pose,copy share and cry over the tub. The energy is intense but after the lights are turned down and the candles are lit, the tub and model become one.

actually would prefer you not. You may be just an occasional writer,
maybe just someone inspired by the work. But I want you to look at one of the tub pictures in the tub series and write, write what you feel or maybe what the model may have been thinking to give me the look and emotion that is within. If I like your work I may use it for my book and I may ask you to write more. I want to know your thoughts. Now by some chance you are one of the models in one of my pictures from the tub series and you want to write, please do tell me what was going on inside your head, what was going on in your life that placed you in the space you were in on that day. I want your input. This project I have promised and promised again, but now I feel is the time for it birth. Please anyone and everyone write me a story or a poem, one page or less long. Tell me the picture title that inspired the story and I will read it and reply. So take a look in the tub series folder and write....there will be more pictures added as I sort thru them.
